I’ve been blogging for almost 12 years now and during that time I’ve made some pretty dumb moves.

Probably the dumbest was letting one of my domains, the one I had originally started blogging on, fall by the way side. I let the domain go fallow then lapse and eventually it was bought by a spammer who made use of all the hard work I’d done building the domain. The most sickening part was I’d let all the content disappear without saving it. So, after 4 years, I’ve come up with the ambitious plan to reclaim the content I’d once written using the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine.

It’s not as ideal as importing the content from a previous blogging platform and it’s requires quite an effort on my part, but I consider it atonement for what happened to the site in the first place. Now, if you’re interested, you can see posts from when I originally started blogging way back in 2002. Most are deeply personal about my family, dealing with my son as we learn about his autism and being a parent. There’s some links and comments about things that were happening locally and about stuff I’d found online and found interesting (at the time).

You can find links to the old stuff in the Archive list located in the footer. Or, to start reading from September 2002, you can click here.
