From the WTF file: Curebit, a startup who just received a crapload of money from VC’s has been caught blatently ripping off design firm 37signals. The sad thing is they got busted because they were hotlinking to the image files on 37signals server.
Here’s an interesting article about a growing movement among firms to scrap the traditional resume and instead ask job seekers for access to their LinkedIN profile, Twitter profile and a short video about themselves.
Companies are increasingly relying on social networks such as LinkedIn, video profiles and online quizzes to gauge candidates’ suitability for a […]
Here’s a great app I recently stumbled across that has really changed the way I’ve been developing on the Mac, CodeKit.
As I said in a previous post, I’ve fallen in love with the new Nikon D4. I won’t buy one of course until I’ve had a chance to play with it some and test it out but until then I’ll just Jones over the features […]
So I’ve been looking around at cameras for some time. I love the form factor of my Nikon D80 with the external battery pack but I’ve had it for a couple of years and, even thought it’s still a great camera, it’s getting kind of old. I bought a Nikon D3100 for it’s ability to […]

Dave Winer posted a nice article this morning in which he examines comments on his blog and makes some great points.
Bottom line is most of what gets posted as comments is garbage. Fine. I’ll read it. Got your message. Now I get to decide if I want to let you use my space […]

Begin by opening up your custom taxonomy template file from wp-content>themes>YOUR-THEME-NAME. It may […]
It wasn’t long ago that movable type was the way printing was done. It’s the way printing was done when I was a kid and it’s the way I learned printing. Now everything is done with digital presses and letterpress printing has all but died out but […]
