A man from Illinois named Ronald Ball is suing Pepsi after becoming very ill drinking Mountain Dew in 2009. When he tipped out the contents of the can, Ball claims to have found the remains of a mouse. He further claims to have contacted Pepsi to complain, and they sent someone to collect the rodent.

Without the mouse, Ball had no evidence with which to pursue a claim, and he states that Pepsi refused to return it to him. So he has decided to sue them claiming damages of $50,000.

But Pepsi has this covered and is arguing Mr Ball never found a mouse in his can of pop. According to experts at the drink’s company, even if a mouse had fallen into the can, by the time Ball opened it to take his first sip the rodent would have dissolved into a “jelly like substance.”
